DeSoto Council on Aging has a current job opening for a Homemaker.

This position is a full-time position. The position would require the candidate to provide in home services for qualified individuals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, light housekeeping, shopping, and food preparation.

Minimum requirements for applicants to be considered for this position include: Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation and must have emotional maturity and flexibility. In addition, candidate must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and COVID-19 test.

DeSoto Council on Aging will be hosting a Community Meet and Greet on March 18, 2026, from 9am-1pm at the Stonewall Community Center, 5208 LA-3276, Stonewall, LA 71078.

Come out and meet our staff and learn about the services we offer. All DeSoto Parish Senior Citizens and elected officials are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
