NRA Basic Range Safety Officer Course
Short Description:
Develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.

More Details:
This course is nine hours long and is conducted in a classroom and at a shooting facility. Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; and firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure and a Course Evaluation form.

Congratulations Karla.

Congrats go out to Karla Priebe who just earned her 25 straight patch and certificate! Karla is a Lady's Junior Varsity shooter and earned her achievement in Trap on the first set and came in first in her competition. Karla has only been shooting for a year and is competing with her Syren Elos N2 Elevate. "She is so excited!" says Kimberly, her proud Mom "she loves her Syren Elos N2 Elevate!" Congrats again Karla, and we look forward to seeing you grow in the sport and be sure to keep us posted on your shooting career so we and the rest of your can cheer you on.
