Join us for Invasive Species Removal Day as part of the Earth Stewardship Celebration! Help protect and improve our local natural areas while enjoying a morning outdoors.

🗓 Wednesday, May 27
⏰ Drop in anytime between 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Gorman Nature Center
(Rain date: Friday, May 29)

What to bring:
• Sturdy work clothing
• Hiking shoes

We’ll provide:
• Work gloves
• Tools
• Water & snacks

Bonus: All participants will be entered into a drawing for one of three $100 gift cards to local businesses!

🌎💚 Student Power in Action! 💚🌎

A huge THANK YOU to the incredible students from Ontario High School’s Warrior Leadership group for showing what environmental stewardship looks like in action!

Sixteen dedicated students spent 2.5 hours tackling a much‑needed cleanup in the woods near Culver’s—and the results were amazing. Together, they collected at least 30 bags of trash, transforming an area that was once heavily littered into a space that now truly looks better. The students themselves noticed a major improvement, and their hard work made a visible difference for both the environment and our community.

We’re proud of these future leaders for stepping up, working together, and proving that small actions—when multiplied—can have a powerful impact. 🌱👏
