Mansfield City Schools is proud to offer several summer programs for students of different grade levels.
These opportunities are designed to keep students active, supported, and inspired throughout the summer months. Families can review the available programs below, including grade levels, dates, locations, times, and enrollment information.
Summer Programs Available
Open Doors Academy – Malabar Intermediate Summer Camp
Open Doors Academy’s Malabar Intermediate Summer Camp gives younger scholars the chance to stay engaged through hands-on enrichment, creative activities, and positive peer connections. Students will explore new interests, build confidence, and strengthen important skills in a fun, supportive summer environment.
Grades: 3–5
Location: Crossroads City Center, 21 E. North Main St., Mansfield, OH 44903
Days: Tuesday–Friday, July 7–31, 2026
Time: 12:00 PM–3:00 PM
Cost: Free

Open Doors Academy – Middle School Summer Camp
Open Doors Academy’s Mansfield Middle School Summer Camp offers students engaging, hands-on learning experiences designed to support teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and personal growth. Through enrichment activities, local partnerships, and opportunities to explore the Mansfield community, scholars can stay connected and continue learning throughout the summer.
Grades: 6-8
Location: Mansfield Middle School
Days: Monday–Friday, June 8–July 10, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Cost: Free

Makerspace Mysteries Camp
Sponsored by SparkForce and Mansfield City Schools Career Technical Education staff, Tyger Makerspace Mysteries Camp gives students hands-on opportunities to explore manufacturing. Campers will participate in interactive activities and visit local manufacturing companies, helping them learn more about career pathways, problem-solving, and real-world skills.
Grades: Entering grades 7–9

Session 2: July 6–July 17, 2026

Camp Invention
Camp Invention is a weeklong, hands-on STEM program designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and encourage problem-solving. Campers will collaborate with friends, design prototypes, investigate clues, build creative solutions, and bring their big ideas to life.
Grades: K–6
Location: Mansfield Senior High School
Days: August 3–7, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM–3:30 PM
Cost: $285 (scholarships available)
