🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation with courage and selflessness.

Your dedication and sacrifice safeguard the freedoms we cherish every day.

At Manorville Community Ambulance, we proudly stand alongside the veterans within our community — including our own members who have served. Your service, both in uniform and here at home, continues to inspire us all.

Thank you for your commitment, your bravery, and your continued contributions to our community.

We salute you today and every day. ❤️🤍💙

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families who still carry that weight, and the first responders who ran toward danger with courage beyond measure.

For those of us in Emergency Medical Services, 9/11 is not just history—it is a reminder of the selflessness, bravery, and compassion that define our calling. The EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, police officers, and countless volunteers who answered the call that morning remind us why service matters.

As we reflect, we also reaffirm our commitment to carry forward that spirit of unity. Every call we answer, every life we touch, and every hour we volunteer is done in memory of those who gave everything on that day.

May we never forget. May we always honor. And may we continue to serve with the same dedication that inspired the world on 9/11.

🔥 HEAT SAFETY REMINDER 🔥
With temperatures soaring, it’s important to protect yourself and your loved ones—including pets—from extreme heat.

✅ Drink plenty of water
✅ Wear light, loose clothing
✅ Limit time outdoors
✅ Use A/C or visit a cooling center
✅ Check on pets—keep them cool and hydrated

Stay safe, stay cool—and remember, if you or someone you know is experiencing heat-related illness, call 911 immediately. 🚑☀️

🔥 That cracked window? Not good enough.

The inside of a parked car can heat up fast, turning deadly for pets or children left behind, even for just a few minutes. Shade doesn’t help. A cracked window doesn’t help.

Never leave a child or pet in a vehicle. Not even for a quick errand.

Let’s keep everyone safe this summer. 💛🐾
