CALLING ALL LIBRARY FRIENDS!

Summer Reading is just around the corner, and we could use a few extra hands. We are doing weekly take home crafts for the kids, and 3 of the crafts need to be packed into bags —and that means packing 75 bags per craft (yep, that’s 225 bags total!).

If you’ve got an hour or two to spare this week or next, come lend a hand. It’s simple work, good company, and goes a long way toward making summer special for local kids.

🌿 Look what your support made possible! 🌿

Thanks to funding from the Friends of the Harvin Clarendon County Library, our library now has two brand new raised garden beds — beautifully built today by the Clarendon County Facilities team. These beds will be the foundation (literally!) for our Junior Garden Club kicking off next month.

Because of Friends like you, kids in our community will get to dig in, grow their own plants, and learn through hands-on garden fun all summer long. 💚🌻

This is what it means to be a Friend — making lasting, joyful impact right here at home.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Clarendon County Facilities team!

Today, they built two beautiful raised garden beds at the library — just in time for our Junior Garden Club to get growing next month! These garden beds will be the heart of hands-on learning, creativity, and a whole lot of fun for kids this summer.
