LSS Youth Resource Center - Mankato LSS Youth Resource Center - Mankato is a place where youth ages 16-24 can acquire the knowledge they need to be healthy, independent and successful adults.

Here, young people can look beyond their past and begin to plan for hopeful futures. The REACH Resource Center is a safe and non-judgmental place for young people to come and receive assistance to get back on their feet. Today, we honor Juneteenth - a celebration of freedom and resilience. At the Resource Center, we’re committed to creating space for learning, reflection, and community connection.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is not just a historical milestone - it’s a living commitment to justice, opportunity, and collective progress. As we reflect on the legacy of June 19, 1865, we also recognize the strength, creativity, and leadership that Black communities continue to bring to our shared future. 💛

Also, a reminder that we will not be accepting donations today in observance of Juneteenth.

The Minnesota Homeless Study, a project of Wilder Research, provides an understanding of the prevalence of homelessness in Minnesota and the circumstances of those experiencing homelessness.

Conducted every three years, the next study is coming up this October!
