🔊 Public Safety Training Notice 🔊

The Mankato Department of Public Safety will be conducting fi****ms training from April 27 through April 30. Training will occur on the north end of town, off of 3rd Avenue, and residents in the area may hear intermittent gunfire during daytime hours.

This training is required for Minnesota peace officers.

They are compiling data on how residents and roadways have been affected during this project.

The Rockwell Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) is available on the Lime Township Website www.limetownshipmn.gov and the EQB Monitor https://www.eqb.state.mn.us/eqb-monitor (March 24, 2026 edition) for the public to view and comment. The window to submit comments to the clerk will end April 23, 2026. Please be sure to send comments on the items within the EAW that you feel need further study or review to [email protected].
