Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization who knows that safe, decent and affordable shelter plays an absolutely critical role in helping families to create futures filled with possibilities and progress.

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your local community to help them build or improve a place they can call home. We provide a hand up, not a hand out. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.

Manitowoc County Habitat coordinates all aspects of Habitat home building in Manitowoc County — fundraising, building site selection, family selection and support, house construction and mortgage servicing. Through shelter, we empower.
