What a beautiful day it was for the Mayor’s Ride yesterday!

Thanks to Mayor Natalie Johnson and everyone who joined us and helped show just how bikeable Manitou Springs can be. Whether you ride every day or just dusted off your bike for the event, it’s always great to see our community out enjoying the fresh air and scenic streets.

As we head into summer, we encourage everyone to consider biking instead of driving whenever possible. It’s good for you, good for our community, and helps keep our streets a little less crowded.

And of course—safety first! Always wear a helmet, follow traffic rules, and stay aware out there.

Happy riding, Manitou!

Good afternoon, Manitou Springs!

Last night's budget discussion was thoughtful, interesting, and nuanced. Please join us for tomorrow morning's meeting also, even if you attended already!

We want to hear about your values, philosophy, suggestions, and any other feedback you have about the budget in the City you call home.

Conversations like this influence how Manitou evolves as a community--the Budget affects things like clean parks, new trails, public amenities, police, fire, EMS, the pool & recreation center, resurfaced roads, working clean water, fire mitigation, and much, much more.

Don't let us miss out on your perspective!

When: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Saturday, June 13th.

Where: Memorial Hall
606 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs, CO 80829.

Good evening, Manitou!

You might have noticed that the Utility Department has given your monthly water bill a facelift! We have replaced the yellow cards with full-size, easy to read paper bills. There were no changes to any auto-pay set up for your account.

This new style allows for more information to be shared with residents and cuts down on returned mail from the post office. Our goal is to provide an easier user experience.

Refer to the image for a detailed breakdown of where key information is located on the new bill.

The City of Manitou Springs is seeking a community member to fill a vacancy on the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) Community Advisory Committee (CAC).

This committee plays an important role in shaping our region’s future by reviewing major transportation plans, funding priorities, and infrastructure projects—and providing a vital community perspective before decisions are made.

We typically have two representatives on the CAC, and it’s important that both seats are filled to ensure Manitou Springs has a strong voice in regional planning efforts.

The CAC meets monthly (last Wednesday at 3 p.m.), with options to attend in person or virtually. Terms are three years.

If you’re interested in helping represent Manitou Springs and contributing to regional decision-making, we’d love to hear from you!
