Yay!!!!! We saw a little rain this morning (yay for the farmers!!!), but we are in the clear to open today!!!! We are open 1-7PM!!! We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and local checks! Our concession stand is stocked, the playlist is ready to play, and our staff is pumped!! UV is high today so bring that sunscreen!!! Life is better by the pool 🙂 see you soon!!!

What an incredible first day of the season at the Manito Aquatic Center! ☀️🏊‍♀️

We are feeling so grateful tonight as we reflect on a fantastic opening day. Our concession stand was hopping, attendance was high, and most importantly—everyone stayed safe. Seeing so many families and friends enjoying time together at our facility is exactly what makes all of the hard work worthwhile.

We would also like to thank all of our patrons for being kind, respectful, and patient throughout the day. Your positive attitudes help create the welcoming, family-friendly environment that makes the Manito Aquatic Center such a special place.

As we move into the season, we have a few friendly reminders:

💛 No food or drinks beyond the yellow line. This helps us keep our facility clean and enjoyable for everyone.

😊 If your child would like to use the slide, they must have a smiley face on their hand. To receive a smiley face, they must either meet the height requirement or successfully pass a swim test.

🗑️ Please help us keep the facility looking its best by picking up after yourselves. If you enjoy a nice, crisp Mountain Dew (or any concession item!), please throw away your trash when you're finished.

⏰ Adult Swim is held daily from 2:45–3:00 PM and again at 4:45- 5:00PM. During these times, children are not permitted in the pool.

We truly feel blessed to have such an amazing community supporting the Manito Aquatic Center. Thank you to everyone who visited today, made memories with family and friends, and helped make our first day such a success.

Although it wasn’t opening day for the public, we had the pleasure of hosting a 5th grade field trip today! It was a chance for our lifeguards and managers to get their feet wet — literally 🤪

There’s just something magical about hearing kids laugh, and boy did it echo through the pool on this beautiful Friday afternoon ❤️

A few reminders for patrons ahead of opening day tomorrow:

• With the addition of new food options at concessions, please plan accordingly when ordering. Some items take longer to cook, so we appreciate your patience while we prepare your food properly.
• We will be using our microphone system to call your name when your order is ready.
• Please do not stand by the concession door while waiting for food.
• There is absolutely no food or drinks allowed beyond the yellow line. This helps keep our facility clean and limits unwanted critters 🙂

Good afternoon!!!! We are so excited for opening day tomorrow!!! If you happen to drive by the pool in the next few hours, there is a private rental. The pool is not open to the public. We will see you on Saturday at 1pm!!!!

We secured another grant!!!! And we were so excited to extend some free swim opportunities to Little Dreamer's Learning Center! They have been faithfully supporting the pool over the years with their field trips!!! This summer is going to be epic!!!! Step Into Swim

There is just something special about all the managers coming together to prepare for opening weekend! There is a lot to do prior to opening day, Saturday, May 30th, but we are so close!! Who is excited to swim and have tasty food options?? :)We open at one on Saturday!!

🌊 Memorial Park Aquatic Center – Friendly Pool Rules Reminder 🌊

We’re excited to welcome everyone for another fun and safe swim season! Please help us keep the pool enjoyable for all guests by following a few important guidelines.

🏊‍♀️ General Pool Safety Rules

Please walk at all times—no running on the pool deck
Use respectful language appropriate for all ages
No excessive horseplay or unsafe water games
No diving in the deep end
No roughhousing, dunking, or behavior that could cause injury
Pool equipment stays in the water—no throwing items at others

🍔 Food Reminder

No food allowed beyond the yellow line on the pool deck (helps keep our water clean and safe!)

🚫 Zero-Tolerance Behaviors

Va**ng or to***co use
Disrespect toward staff or other guests
Disruptive or unsafe behavior
Refusing to follow staff directions

🎢 Slide Safety Rules
For everyone’s safety on the slide, please follow all posted rules and lifeguard instructions:

One rider at a time
Wait for the lifeguard’s signal before going
Must go down feet first
Sit facing forward at all times
Keep hands inside the slide
Exit the splash area immediately after landing
No stopping inside the slide
No running on stairs or the platform
No pushing, shoving, or roughhousing in line
No climbing up the slide
No chains or multiple riders together
No standing or turning around while sliding
No goggles around the neck or loose accessories
No life jackets, puddle jumpers, flotation devices, rafts, or toys on the slide
Parents may not catch children at the bottom of the slide
Only assigned lifeguards are allowed in the slide exit area
Riders must follow lifeguard instructions immediately

🎧🌊 Kid DJ Pool Party at Manito Aquatic Center! 🌊🎧

Get ready for an electrifying summer afternoon at the pool! Mackinaw Solar is sponsoring an exciting Kid DJ Pool Party you won’t want to miss.

Join us on July 8th from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM for a fun-filled event featuring a live DJ playing all the kid-friendly favorites. Kids will even get the chance to request their favorite songs while swimming and enjoying time with friends in the water.

On Memorial Day, we honor every American warrior who left behind the blessings of home and family to answer our Nation’s greatest calling.

The Manito Aquatic Center is located in Memorial Park, and we felt honored to share this space with the Hill-Palmer American Legion Post 561! It was a beautiful ceremony and true honor to witness as we spent the morning and afternoon preparing the pool concessions. We watched our community come together to honor our fallen soldiers and their families.

What a beautiful day and a wonderful event! Our staff loved a break in the morning to partake. See you all May 30th for opening day!!

A HUGE thank you to Mackinaw Solar for partnering with the Manito Aquatic Center to sponsor our upcoming Sensory Swim events! ☀️💙🏊

Mackinaw Solar wanted to invest back into our rural community, and we truly believe there is no better way than creating more inclusive opportunities for families at our Manito Aquatic Center. Because of their generosity, we are able to offer special swim times designed specifically for children and adults with sensory needs.

These events will provide:
✨ A calm and supportive environment
✨ No music
✨ No whistle blowing
