With high school just around the corner, our 8th graders spent a few minutes of their last full day collecting memories—and poses! 📸We knocked on teachers' doors, challenged them to strike a pose, and discovered that MHS staff definitely understood the assignment. 💚

Our 7th and 8th graders recently had an amazing opportunity to learn about aviation from MHS alumni, Scott Giles, through the Southwest Airlines Adopt-A-Pilot Program! ✈️
Scott made a special trip to the U.P. to share his training, and knowledge about flying through an engaging slideshow, exciting video clips, and hands-on activities. Students gained a great overview of the many things pilots need to know and might experience throughout their careers.
It was such a treat to have such an incredible guest spend the day with us! Thank you to Scott Giles and Southwest Airlines for offering such a fun and inspiring program for our students. We truly appreciate the time, energy, and passion shared with our school community!
