The temporary traffic control devices are being removed today as exploratory work wraps up on the bridge deck. We appreciate everyone’s patience,understanding, and cooperation while crews completed the work.

🚧 **Traffic Alert – Temporary Lane Closure** 🚧

Please be advised that there is a **temporary one-lane closure** on **County Road 432 South at the Milakokia Bridge crossing**.

Traffic is being controlled with temporary signals, and motorists should expect brief delays. Please follow posted signage and be prepared to stop when the light is red.

We encourage drivers to use caution, reduce speed, and allow extra travel time when passing through the area.

⚠️ When approaching a flagger:
🛑 Slow down and be prepared to stop.
✋ Follow their signals and instructions.
📵Stay alert and avoid distractions.
🚗 Be patient - delays are temporary.
🙏 Show respect - they are working to keep you safe.

Flaggers are the front line of work zone safety. Please give them the respect they deserve.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Due to a culvert failure County Road 456 aka Old Seney Road is closed from the end of the blacktop to the Luce County line.

Our crews will continue to monitor the road until it is accessible for a culvert replacement.

Please seek alternate route.

Due to severe mud and unsafe road conditions, Zellar Rd (“Hog Alley”) is temporarily closed between Lustila Rs and Ten Curves until further notice.

Please avoid the area and seek an alternate route. Our crews will continue to monitor conditions and make repairs as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep the traveling public safe.

County Road 436 (Floodwoods Rd) is currently closed between M-77 and the CC Bridge intersection—from the end of pavement on both sides—until further notice.

If you see any of our hardworking Schoolcraft County Road Commission crew members out on the roads, please give them a big thank you and a shout-out for the tireless hours they have been putting in to serve our community.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication they show every day, especially during challenging weather conditions. Their commitment helps keep our county moving safely.

Please continue to be patient and give them plenty of space as they work another long day clearing and opening roads throughout Schoolcraft County.

Our Seney garage plowing is back in full force this morning.

Please be patient as they work to open the roads in Seney, Germfask, and Blaney.

Our night crew worked diligently through the night to make both M28 & M77 passable. You will still see snow covered and slippery roads, so please if you don’t have to be out stay home to allow our crews to continue to improve the road surfaces.
