If you happen to be out and about in these blizzard conditions please be aware of your surroundings! There are many fallen trees and lines down in the road ways as well as in driveways etc. When you see an emergency vehicle blocking a road, be cautious (that doesn’t mean to try and go around them). We are blocking the roads for the public’s protection. Be aware that Consumers Energy is working as fast as they can. Every fire department is working their hardest at this time.

I huge thank you to Jailhouse Bar and Grill (Kari Warren), Civic Club (Sherri Wehrmeister), VFW, The Bungalow, Gremore, Victorian Auto Spa, Attention To Detail, and Filer Mill Community Club for an amazing Chili Cook Off today!! In total there were 25 different chilis!!! The fundraiser raised $1180.00!! If you would like to participate next year we would love to have you!! Thank you to everyone that was able to stop by and participate!! We have an amazing community!!
Again thank you all for your continued support to the Filer Township Fire Department!!! We look forward to next year!!!
