A community resource expo supporting veterans, families, and neighbors.

The Northwest Michigan Salute to Service Veterans Expo is dedicated to connecting veterans and military members with valuable resources. Join us on August 9th, from 10 AM – 3 PM, to meet vendors offering services and support specifically for veterans. Attendees will enjoy free entry, a complimentary goodie bag for veterans and their families, and access to snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Throughout the day, live speakers from our top sponsors will share valuable insights and information. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with Veteran Affairs from Benzie, Manistee, Wexford, and Mason counties, along with other organizations dedicated to supporting our heroes.

As we step into a new year, I want to pause and reflect on why the Northwest Michigan Salute to Service exists.

This past year was about planting the seeds — building something meaningful for our veterans, service members, and their families. Something rooted in support, access to resources, and community.

As a military family, this mission is personal. I know how overwhelming it can feel trying to navigate benefits, services, and support systems without always knowing where to start.

The Salute to Service Expo is about changing that.
It’s about showing up.
It’s about connection.
And it’s about making sure those who serve know they are supported right here at home.

I’m incredibly grateful for the vendors, sponsors, speakers, and community members who believed in this vision from the beginning. Because of you, this has become more than an event — it’s a commitment.

As we head into the new year, I’m excited to continue growing this mission and to begin planning the 2nd Annual Northwest Michigan Salute to Service in 2026. I hope you’ll find a way to be involved in the next expo.

✨ A Huge Thank You! ✨

It’s hard to believe our Northwest Michigan Salute to Service Expo wrapped up 10 days ago! I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve our local veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to all the vendors, sponsors, and everyone who came out — your support made this event possible and truly special. Seeing our community come together to honor those who serve was amazing!

Even though the event has ended, I want everyone to know that I’m still here as a resource. If you missed the event or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re happy to help in any way we can.

We’re already looking forward to next year and will do everything we can to make it even bigger and better. Together, we can continue supporting those who have given so much for our country. 🇺🇸

This event is about more than resources — it’s about community, honoring service, and making sure no one walks alone.

🫶 Whether you're looking for help with health care, housing, jobs, VA support, education, mental wellness — or just want to connect with others who understand the journey — you are welcome here.

💬 While this event is focused on supporting our military and veteran community, many of the resources and services can benefit others in the community as well. If you’re part of the public and feel this might help you or someone you know — we’d love to have you join us.
