🚨🚨🚨UPDATE: Campsites will be available for reservations at 8am tomorrow with the usual opening of business.

We are working on resolving some customer service issues in relation to the construction of the new bathroom building in the campground. For this reason, reservations are being held until those issues can be resolved. We will post once this is resved and reservations are back open. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Things are moving along. The north bathroom building has been demolished and crews will continue working on cleaning up the site in the coming days. DNR crews are trimming abd removing trees.

As a reminder, the campground remains closed during construction activities.

We are excited to see broken ground for the new playground! It's been a long time coming and we could not have don't it with our many partners: Manistee Township, Manistee County Community Foundation, Manistee County, Sanders & Czapski Associates, Hallack Contracting, and of course the Friends of Orchard Beach State Park!

Drum roll please...the day has come to Orchard Beach State Park for a groundbreaking for the accessible playground! Yes, a small group of current and former FOBSP Board members gathered with Park Supervisor Dan Young to celebrate the milestone we have all been waiting for! 🚨🚨🚨Announcement: Park Closure🚨🚨🚨

The campground is now closed for the construction of a new toilet/shower building funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and universally accessible playground in the day use area near the Shelter Building funded through partnerships with Manistee Township and the Friends of Orchard Beach State Park.

During this closure we ask that no one enters the campground or day use area on the West side on Lakeshore Road (M-110). The trails on the east side of the road will remain open for your enjoyment.
