August 2026 brought some new records in The Market. We saw the highest total visits, unique families, and first-time visitors. As we approach the end of the year, we're expecting to hit the highest number of everything in a single calendar year.

As we continue to see growth, we know our information is getting to the people who need it the most. We're so happy to see so many new faces come through our doors every day and join the community we're building inside and outside of our walls.

September is Hunger Action Month! This marks the 19th year since this month of advocacy began, raising awareness about food insecurity and encouraging communities to take action.

This month, we’re asking our community to support FHBB by donating, volunteering with our outreach team, and learning more about food insecurity.

Community Connections will go live Monday 8/17! This new program at FHBB will connect our guests to other local organizations with the resources people need beyond food. This could be financial assistance, dental, medical, job help and more.

Guests will be able to have a meeting with one of our team members who will help them find the program(s) they may qualify for and support them as they take their next steps.

Did you know we also have hygiene items for our guests to choose from? Now you do!

We do our best to keep our shelves stocked with everyday essentials like toilet paper, laundry detergent, toothbrushes, menstrual products, and more so our guests have access to the items they need to stay healthy and care for themselves.

If you're at the store over the next week, pick up some of these items and donate them to FHBB!
