Larry D. George, age 64, of Manhattan, Kansas died Monday April 15, 2013 at the Select Specialty Hospital, Kansas City, Kansas. Additional service information and a complete obituary will be released later by the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas.

A sad day for our brothers and sisters in Topeka, and the law enforcement family. R.I.P. to CPL David Gogian and Officer Jeff Atherly.

Authorities from multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a shooting at a central Topeka Dillons grocery store Sunday night, where multiple officers may have been shot.
