6th Annual VetFest to Honor Veterans and First Responders
As the Manhattan Beach Rotary Club marks its 75th anniversary this year, the organization is doubling down on its commitment to community service and civic engagement. A vital force in the South Bay since 1949, the Rotary has long supported local and global initiatives—from student scholarships to international humanitarian aid. Now, it’s preparing for one of its most heartfelt traditions: the 6th annual VetFest on November 8th, 2025, an event that celebrates the service and sacrifice of veterans and first responders.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Manhattan Beach, VetFest has become a beloved community gathering. Open to the public ($60) and free for all veterans and first responders, the festival features live music from The Pine Mountain Logs and Joe’s Band, food trucks, kids activities, and resource booths. More than just a celebration, the event raises critical funds for organizations like Operation Mend (UCLA), Team Rubicon, Pin Up for Vets, the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation, and other veteran-focused non-profits.
This year’s VetFest is especially meaningful, coinciding with the Rotary’s 75th anniversary—a milestone that reflects decades of unwavering service. Organizers say it’s a way to honor the past, support the present, and invest in the future of those who’ve given so much.
