Had the opportunity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Progressive Athletic Center in New Hyde Park and recognize the incredible role it has played in our community over the past quarter-century. From inspiring young athletes to providing a place for our youth to learn, grow, and build confidence, Progressive Athletic Center has truly become a pillar of our community. Today, I attended the annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Manhasset Valley Park. The names of North Hempstead residents who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, are now inscribed on a memorial wall, ensuring that their lives, sacrifices, and memories will forever be preserved.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage and strength shown in the days that followed.

May we continue to honor their legacy through unity, remembrance, and strength. 🇺🇸

I had a wonderful time visiting the Manhasset-Great Neck Economic Opportunity Council, Inc. to drop off brand-new backpacks for the children in their summer program!
