Today is a day we remember.

We remember the heroes who answered the call, the lives that were lost, the families forever changed, and the countless Americans who came together in the face of tragedy.

We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, military members, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary courage on September 11, 2001.

That day changed our nation forever, but it also reminded us of the strength, unity, and compassion Americans are capable of showing one another.

We will never forget those we lost.
We will never forget those who served.
We will never forget September 11, 2001.

Please join us for a community BBQ on August 29 at 11:00 a.m. as we honor the life and service of one of our firefighters who tragically lost their life due to domestic violence.

This gathering will also help raise awareness about domestic violence and its devastating impact on individuals, families, and communities. Everyone is welcome.

Today we had the honor of bringing one of our own home. Aleta Driver and Ken Butcher drove to Billings and picked Dennis Chambers up. We met in Basin and got to bringing Dennis home in his favorite truck, tender 303. Dennis was a part of the crew for 12 years and is truly missed every single day. He didn't want a funeral but we think this was still a great way to come home for your last ride. In true Dennis fashion (even stuck in the back seat in the seat belt) he got to go on one last call. Upon arriving in Basin someone hit a pole and the crew had to help do traffic control. Dennis loved being apart of the department and he probably was having the last laugh.
