💧Water Meter Upgrade Project Coming Soon💧

The City of Mandan will soon begin a water meter upgrade project in select areas of the city. This project is being supported in part through the City’s WaterSMART grant-funded Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System Update Project, which helps modernize our water system and improve service to residents.

As part of this phase, crews will be replacing some older water meters, but not every meter in town will be upgraded at this time. This is a targeted refresh project focused on specific locations and aging equipment.

The City has contracted Raines Meter Menders to perform the meter replacements. Residents selected for replacement will receive a letter with additional information and may be contacted by Raines Meter Menders LLC to schedule an appointment. Technicians will need access to the home's water meter to complete the work.

The new smart water meter technology will help improve meter reading accuracy, increase operational efficiency, and provide better long-term system management.

Residents selected for a meter replacement will receive additional information before work begins. Thank you for your patience as we continue investing in Mandan's water infrastructure. Questions, please contact Mandan Public Works at 701-667-3240 or [email protected].
