Recovery Month is an annual observance held every September to increase public awareness about mental health and substance abuse disorders. It represents courage, resilience, healing, and hope for individuals navigating mental health and substance use recovery.

•
The official theme for National Recovery Month 2026 is: “Recovery is REAL (Restoring Every Aspect of Life)”
•
•
Coffee County Probation strives each and every day, not just during September, to restore people’s lives. Sometimes this restoration involves tough love and trials. However, every day we strive to meet our clients where they are in their journey to become fully integrated members of their community again.
•
This is also Su***de Prevention Awareness Month. Please join us at the OUT OF THE DARKNESS WALK on Saturday September 19th, 2026 in support of this worthy cause.

As always, Coffee County Probation is here to assist any community member in obtaining alcohol and drug related resources (treatment) or mental health services (counseling), NOT JUST THOSE THAT ARE ON PROBATION.
