Clay Community Foundations, LLC is dedicated to providing supports and services to individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities to live their lives to the fullest, while creating an atmosphere that encourages and motivates individuals toward personal growth. As a certified provider for Supports for Community Living (SCL) and Michelle P Waiver (MPW) programs, we strive to offer a

community that promotes self-respect, independence, and improves the quality of life for all individuals. Our goal is to meet the social, physical, mental, recreational, educational, and vocational needs of all individuals we support. We provide a high quality of supports and a safe and comfortable environment at our facility and residences. At CCF we are committed to improving tomorrow for those with additional challenges to everyday life. Our Day Training facility is conveniently located in Manchester, Kentucky. Our Day Training facility is large enough for the participants to be active and to participate in a variety of activities to foster growth. Our training programs are designed to cultivate a variety of skills, including: communication, making personal choices, domestic skills, developing hobbies and interests, and developing basic work skills. All activities are individually-designed to meet the needs of each individual.

Qualifications: Executive Director shall:
• Have a bachelor's degree or higher degree from an accredited institution; or is a registered nurse; and

• Have a minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience in an organization that served individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities; and that includes experience in the ex*****on of the overall administration of an agency including:
o Development, implementation, and maintenance of the agency’s budget;
o Development, review, implementation, and revisions as needed of the organization’s policies and procedures; and
o Supervision of employees including conducting performance evaluations;
o Meet all personnel and training requirements;
o If providing professional oversight or supervision of employees, meet the supervisory qualifications specified for each service.
Responsibilities:
• Assure that all federal, state and local statues, laws and regulations are complied with at all times;

• Keep up-to-date on all changes of the laws and regulations as pertain to the business of Clay Community Foundations, LLC and assure that such changes are implemented;

• Read and adhere to agency policies and procedures;
• Lead the design, development and implementation of strategic plans for Clay Community Foundations, LLC;

• Meet with regulatory agents and agencies as necessary;

• Maintain responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the agency;

• Assure that the organization has a long-range strategy which achieves its mission in a consistent and timely progress;

• Provide leadership in developing program, organizational and financial plans with the Board of Directors and staff, and carry out plans and policies authorized by the board;

• Promote active and broad participation by volunteers in all areas of the organization's work;

• Maintain official records and documents, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations; and

• Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field.

• See that the board is kept fully informed on the condition of the organization and all important factors influencing it;

• Publicize the activities of the organization, its programs and goals;

• Establish sound working relationships and cooperative arrangements with community groups and organizations; and

• Represent the programs and point of view of the organization to agencies, organizations, and the general public.

• Be responsible for the recruitment, employment, and release of all personnel, both paid staff and volunteers;

• Ensure that job descriptions are developed, that regular performance evaluations are held, and that sound human resource practices are in place;

• See that an effective management team, with appropriate provision for succession, is in place.

• Encourage staff and volunteer development and education, and assist program staff in relating their specialized work to the total program of the organization; and

• Maintain a climate that attracts, keeps, and motivates a diverse staff of top quality people.

• Be responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial practices;

• Work with the staff and the Board of Directors in preparing a budget and see that the organization operates within budget guidelines; and

• Ensure that adequate funds are available to permit the organization to carry out its work.

• All other duties assigned by the Board of Directors of Clay Community Foundations, LLC.

Qualifications:
Human Resource Director shall:

• Be eighteen (18) years of age or older;
• Have High School Diploma or GED or is at least twenty-one (21) years old;
• Have a valid Social Security Number or valid work permit if not a US Citizen; and
• Be able to communicate effectively with participant's, colleagues, and participant’s family;

• Read understand, and implement written and oral instructions;

• Be able to perform required documentation and record keeping;

Responsibilities:
• Read and adhere to agency policies and procedures;
• Job applicant reference checks and pre-orientation;
• Office management;
• Assist in budget development;
• Oversees benefit plans;
• Oversees maintenance of all buildings and equipment;
• Maintaining Employee Records;
• Ensure all personnel records obtain required documentation;
• Ensure completion of all employee training's and notifies the Program Director/Executive Director when employee training's are due;

• Employee Relations;
• Employee and Community Communication;
• Participates in Executive, Management, and staff meetings; attends other meetings and seminars needed;

• Effectively manages the human resources of the agency according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations;

• Community and public relations – assures the agency and its mission, programs, products, and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image;

• Keeps the administration staff informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of Clay Community Foundations, LLC goals, and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line management level; and

• The Human Resources Director assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Program Director.
