🌟 Leadership Academy: Hartford Metro 2026 🌟

Are you ready to grow as a leader, strengthen your confidence, and make a real impact in your community?

The Leadership Academy: Hartford Metro is a two-day immersive experience where young people learn through action—not lectures. Participants will engage in interactive activities, team challenges, and meaningful reflection while building leadership skills that can create lasting change.

All About Girls 🌸

Growing up comes with lots of questions, changes, and new experiences. Join us for All About Girls, a special program designed for girls in grades 4–7 and their parent or guardian.

This free event will feature an informative discussion led by Town of Manchester Community Health Nurse Danielle Barberich, focusing on the physical and emotional development of girls during early adolescence. Participants will have the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and engage in open conversation in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

✨ Dinner will be provided
✨ Girls will receive their own "Period Pack" to take home
✨ Safe, welcoming space for learning and discussion

The Manchester Elks Lodge #1893 will be hosting a Drug Awareness Pancake Fundraiser on Saturday, May 16th from 9:00–11:00 AM.

✨ All-you-can-eat pancakes
✨ $10 per person
✨ Honoring the winners of the D.A.P. Poster Contest

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Drug Awareness Program.

This is a great opportunity for teens to gain real-world experience, build skills, and connect with mentors in a supportive environment.
