Join us as we kick off the Eastside Farmers Market season from 4:30 PM–7:00 PM at 153 Spruce Street!

Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for an evening of fresh food, community, and fun:

🛍️ 4:30 PM–7:00 PM – Shop local vendors, enjoy live music, and grab a bite from food trucks
🧘 5:30 PM–6:30 PM – FREE Community Yoga on Market Field
✂️ 6:00 PM – Eastside Plaza Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

🎶 Enjoy live music by Morgan Chambers
🌭 Grab dinner from Pop's Hot Diggity Dogs and cool off with Kona Ice

Hey Manchester! There is EVERYTHING to do here in town! We are shaking up our Rec at a Glance schedule to bring you more programming, more information, and even more fun this summer with family, friends, and community!

Every Monday, we will upload the schedule for the upcoming week's events. From the Eastside Farmers Market to Rec on the Run, there is something for everyone to enjoy this summer. Registration for the Eastside Farmers Market July market dates has opened for the Senior Power of Produce (POP) Program, a supplemental nutrition program that offers weekly $5.00 produce vouchers to Manchester's seniors. Registration is now live!

The Senior POP Program offers Manchester seniors the opportunity to register for a $5.00 voucher for use on any fresh fruits or vegetables at the Eastside Farmers Market (Wednesdays, June 3 - October 7, 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM, 153 & 163 Spruce Street), as well as our Eastside Fall Pop-Up Market (Wednesday, October 14, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, 448 Tolland Tpke). Voucher registration opens at 9:00 AM on the 1st Monday of the month from May 2026 - September 2026 for the following month's markets (i.e. registration for June Power of Produce vouchers opens on Monday, May 4th @ 9:00 AM). Registered participants can pick up their vouchers at the Welcome Pavilion at the Eastside Farmers Market. You must be a Manchester resident aged 60+ to register. Registration is capped at seventy-five (75) total vouchers per weekly farmer's market. Limit one voucher per resident per week.

Don't forget! Make sure you sign up for our newest programming series...Homemade on the Plaza! Each week, we will offer a chance for you to get creative and enjoy the newest recreation area on Spruce Street. We have spaces open for this coming week's activity, a pride-themed tote bag decoration session!

All sessions are at no cost, but we do request that you register so we have enough materials. To register, please call the Center Springs office at 860-647-3084. We look forward to seeing you on the plaza!
