⚠️☀️The Extreme Hot Weather Protocol will be activated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and continues through 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2026. During this period, temperatures are expected to reach at or above 90°F for three or more consecutive days. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions.

If you are at risk from the heat, call 860-645-5500 for assistance.

Individuals who are unhoused and in need of assistance should contact 2-1-1 or MACC Charities. MACC Charities will be handing out water to those in need.

⚠️🚧Contractors working for Manchester Public Works will be making repairs to the traffic control signal operating the intersections of Tolland Turnpike at Chapel Road on Tuesday June 9. 

Manchester Police Department will be on site directing traffic. 

Expect delays and use caution when traveling through the area.

⚠️🚧Please be advised that the pump track section of The Oak will be closed for repairs from today through Thursday. Contractors are currently on-site completing the necessary work.

For everyone’s safety and to ensure the repairs are successful, please stay off the track until repairs have been completed and the track has fully reopened.

⚠️Traffic Advisory

The Eastside Farmers Market begins this evening and will be held every Wednesday through October 7 in front of the Eastside Neighborhood Resource Center, located at 153 Spruce Street.

Please be advised that Spruce Street between Florence Street and Oak Street will be closed from 2:30pm to 7:30pm to accommodate the market. Manchester Police officers will be assigned to the road closure and will assist residents who need access to their homes within the affected area.

The farmers market will open from 4:30pm to 7pm and will feature local vendors, food trucks, live music, and more.

We encourage everyone to come out and support this great community event. Please plan ahead for the temporary road closure and use caution when traveling in the area.
