We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who came out to support our Klager Color Run! Your enthusiasm and support made this event truly unforgettable.

Thanks to your generous donations and unwavering support, every child received their very own Klager Color Run T-shirt! It was heartwarming to see our kids running with joy, proudly wearing their shirts, and creating beautiful memories together.

A special shoutout to those who made vibrant signs and came out to cheer our kids on. Your encouragement filled the day with excitement and positivity, and it meant the world to our young participants.

This year, we also took a moment to celebrate two remarkable educators, Karin Villarreal and Bryan Barnard, whom this event was dedicated to, as they embark on their well-deserved retirement. Thank you for your dedication, passion, and the countless lives you've touched throughout your careers. You will be deeply missed!

To our amazing Klager staff and children, thank you for being the incredible people that you are. Your spirit and teamwork made this event possible, and we are so proud to be part of this wonderful community. Lastly, thank you Ann Arwin and Jessica Hall for stepping up and diving in to lead Klager Student Support this year! You have been the backbone of our work and for you we are grateful!

We can’t wait to see you all again next year for another unforgettable Klager Color Run!

Our Klager Cookout was a huge success! Thank you to Superintendent Steven Head and Board Members Brandon “Hot Dog” Woods and Christine Deacons for joining us! Mr. Woods at the grill was PERFECTION!

Our students are incredible, and we’re so proud of their hard work and growth this year! Ending the year with this cookout is exactly what we all needed!

Thank you to our amazing food service team for making eating so much fun! 🤩

Our talented Manchester Jr/Sr High School students are hard at work building a brand-new shed for Luther C. Klager Elementary! Our learning community is a place where our students can apply their skills to create solutions for real-world problems. From building clubs and agricultural studies to entrepreneurial and STEAM classes, we’re seeing incredible growth of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.

A huge THANK YOU to our students, Mr. Freeman, and our voters for supporting the WISD mileage, which has made initiatives like this possible! Your commitment to education is helping our students thrive and gain real-world experience.

We’re proud to be part of the WISD community and can’t wait to see how our CTE activities continue to grow and inspire the next generation!

Please join us for the Klager Color Run tomorrow at 2:00 PM. Parents can stand outside the playground in the pick up loop to cheer our students on.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, every Klager student will get a specially designed Klager Color Run T-shirt to run around and get colored in. You Liz Caron, Ellen Supers, and Adrienne Thompson for the countless hours of designing, pressing, and ironing nearly 200 t-shirts!

🏁🎉 Exciting News from the Second Annual Great Klager Race! 🎉🏁

What a thrilling race it was this year! The competition was fierce, but we have a new champion to celebrate! 🦓🎊 Congratulations to Zebra for clinching the title in a nail-biting finish, crossing the finish line just a split second ahead of the pack! 🥇

This year, we introduced a special trophy for the winner, who will hold onto this coveted prize for an entire year until it gets passed on to next year's champion. Who will rise to the challenge and take the trophy next? 🤔🏆

Let the speculation begin! 🏃‍♂️💨💬

Our Klager students are stepping up as community changemakers through hands-on, project-based learning! They are honing their collaborative problem-solving skills and embracing civic responsibility, all while discovering that challenges are just opportunities in disguise.

Fueled by the needs of our community, we’re proud to see our students thrive in this environment. Throughout the program, they’ve transformed innovative ideas into actionable solutions, making a real impact right where they live.

When young minds learn to ask, “How can we make this better?” and take action, the effects ripple far beyond the classroom, reaching families, neighborhoods, and the very heart of Manchester. Today we celebrate our little leaders who are ready to make a difference!

This incredible free opportunity was made possible through our partnership with Coding Out Of Poverty and led by our very own Librarian and Innovative Lab teacher, Ms. Supers. A huge thank you to both for their dedication and support!
