The Meriwether County School System Wraparound Center recently hosted a festive Christmas party to celebrate the end of the year and reflect on the impact made throughout the past year. The celebration was a fantastic opportunity to come together, enjoy fellowship, and recognize the dedication of those who work tirelessly to support students and families in our community.

The Wraparound Center plays a vital role in providing resources, encouragement, and care to help meet the needs of Meriwether County families. This gathering was a meaningful way to celebrate those efforts and the spirit of the season.

Kevin Williams Inspires Students at Greenville Middle High School

On Wednesday, October 29, Kevin Williams from the Three Rivers Regional Commission visited Greenville Middle High School to speak with students about preparing for their future. During his interactive presentation, Mr. Williams emphasized the importance of developing soft skills—communication, teamwork, and problem-solving—qualities that employers value just as much as technical knowledge.

He also discussed how learning to adapt to change is essential in today’s fast-paced world and encouraged students to take time to understand their personal strengths as they explore potential career paths. Through real-life examples and relatable stories, Mr. Williams motivated students to think about their goals, make positive choices, and take proactive steps toward building successful futures.

**Help a Child Smile Program Provides Dental Services to Manchester High School Students at the Wraparound Center**

On October 24, licensed dental hygienists and professional dental assistants delivered high-quality dental care to students at Manchester High School through the Help a Child Smile program.

Help a Child Smile is an in-school dental initiative aimed at addressing the current dental crisis and ensuring children's health. Our innovative model offers state-of-the-art dental care in a comfortable and familiar school environment, allowing students to remain in class and engaged in learning. This service is convenient for parents and comes at no cost to them or to our school.

Services offered include:
- Complete dental exams
- Cleanings
- X-rays
- Fluoride treatments
- Sealants
- Oral health instruction

Help a Child Smile accepts Medicaid, PeachCare, and private insurance, which typically cover 100% of treatment costs, alleviating any financial burden on parents. Additionally, we offer an affordable self-pay option to ensure that every child receives the dental care they need.
