Earlier today, Sergeant Stephen Louf proudly represented the Manchester-by-the-Sea Police Department at the annual Cruiser Convoy and Special Olympics Massachusetts events.
Joining approximately 250 law enforcement vehicles from across the Commonwealth, Sgt. Louf participated in the Cruiser Convoy, one of the most visible and inspiring traditions supporting Special Olympics athletes. Following the convoy, he had the privilege of helping present medals to the incredible athletes whose determination, sportsmanship, and achievements continue to inspire us all.
The Cruiser Convoy and Law Enforcement Torch Run are more than just events—they are a testament to the strong partnership between law enforcement and Special Olympics Massachusetts. Last year, these efforts helped raise over $1.5 million for Special Olympics programs, and organizers are hoping to surpass that remarkable milestone this year.
We are incredibly proud of Sgt. Louf for his continued commitment to this outstanding cause and for representing our department and community with such dedication. His participation reflects the values of service, compassion, and community engagement that make these events so special.
Please join us in congratulating all of the athletes and in supporting the mission of Special Olympics Massachusetts.
