October is International AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) Awareness Month! This month, we’re celebrating a very special student in our GSRP classroom and all of his wonderful classmates. We all communicate in different ways, and he is showing us every single day that every voice matters. We are so grateful for everything he is teaching us!

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Lauralea Taylor for all the incredible support you bring to our program—we appreciate everything you do! 💛

As of June 1st, 2026, the Michigan WIC income eligibility limits have increased. If you previously thought your family made too much to qualify for WIC benefits, it’s time to check again!

WIC is open to pregnant individuals, new moms, breastfeeding parents, and families with infants and kids under age 5 (including dads, grandparents, and foster parents!)
