Last night was a busy night as we had a lot to recognize and celebrate in Manalapan Township! Mayor McNaboe, Deputy Mayor Cohen and the Township Committee were joined by Chief Maltese, Deputy Chief Hoppock and Captain Gallo as they presented awards to Police Officers and civilians for their heroic actions in 2025. They also recognized our Certified Emergency Response Team (CERT) for all their work throughout the year.

We also celebrated career milestones as Philip Accatatta was promoted to Lieutenant and Kyle Williams was promoted to Sergeant. Congratulations to them both!

Last but certainly not least, we welcomed new Police Officers Michael Papalcure, Kyle Curley, Daniel Reding and Tim Gjonballa. We wish them all a happy and safe career here in Manalapan Township!

πŸ‘ A big Thank You to the Teen Volunteers at this year's Nature Fest & Native Plant Sale!🌿 The event's success would not have been possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of our outstanding teen volunteers.

About 20 students volunteered, including members of the Teen Leadership Committee and the JROTC cadets from Colts Neck High School. From setting up and decorating before the event, to assisting vendors and exhibitors, directing guests, helping with activities, and staying afterward for cleanup, these students played an important role every step of the way. Their willingness to pitch in wherever needed helped create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for attendees, exhibitors, and volunteers alike.

The Manalapan Environmental Commission extends its sincere thanks to these remarkable young people for their hard work, positive attitudes, and commitment to serving the community. We are grateful for all they did to make Nature Fest a success! πŸŒ±πŸ¦‹πŸŒΈ

Brought to you by the Manalapan Arts Council, our biggest event of the year, Manalapan Day will be held at the Manalapan Recreation Center on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 3pm to 10pm.

As always, there will be delicious food, various vendor displays, a petting zoo, bounce houses and rides for the kids. We will also have a lot of free entertainment, such as face painting, a gaming truck and an exciting bubble party by NJ Bubbleworks! Not to mention the dance parties, karaoke fun, Zumba by Mind Body and Soul, and a class from Honor Yoga.

This year will feature music by the Crazy8’s and a special concert performed by Still They Ride, America's Definitive Journey Tribute band, and don’t forget the spectacular firework display that will conclude the night!

Each year we seem to have record breaking attendance as residents and our friends in neighboring towns come out to enjoy the fun!

While you are at Manalapan Day, be sure to stop by the Manalapan Arts Council tent to vote for your favorite photo in their "Captured by the Community" photo contest!

Shuttle busses will be available from both the Covered Bridge Clubhouse beginning at 3pm and Manalapan High School beginning at 4pm.

Please note, no bicycles, skateboards, scooters, pets, alcohol or smoking are permitted at Manalapan Day.

At this time we would like to sincerely thank all our sponsors including Platinum Sponsors Artheon, Englishtown Auction Sales/Mainbrook Tavern, New Jersey Natural Gas, Son of a Roofer, and Wegmans!
