As Election Day comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me. I could never adequately thank you all for everything you have done to support me during this election cycle. I am proud that my entire campaign was run with integrity.

So from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all for your support. Whether you played a major or minor role, know that I could not have done it without your support. Win or lose, I can hold my head up high and know that I never once compromised myself, and that I had the best of the best on my team.

Collaboration is key to addressing the diverse needs of our students and schools. If elected, I will work diligently to promote collaboration by ensuring that the voices of all stakeholders are heard and valued, and by supporting partnerships with community organizations to enhance educational opportunities. By emphasizing collaboration, we can create an educational system that is more responsive to the needs of our students and more accountable to our community. Together, we can provide an environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

I was more than happy to fill out the questionnaire for Arts Ed NJ.

Education extends beyond the classroom. In a time where many districts face significant budget cuts due to S2 funding, often times the arts are the first to take a hit. Thankfully, MERS continues to offer a variety of musical and theatrical programs for our students. My son took advantage of the music program by performing in the school band, Select Percussion Ensemble, and the Manalapans during his time at MERS. Access to such programs allowed him to have an outlet for his creativity, and helped get him accepted into one of the magnet programs in high school.

If elected to the board, I will work to ensure that access to the arts remains a priority.
