Stafford Lions Club would like to thank Walmart Manahawkin, Walmart LEH, Bageleddie’s and their kind and generous customers. We have come to the end of our 2023 fundraising. All 100% of donations are used to support our community. Each year we provide 3 scholarships to graduating seniors.
We provide food cards to local churches and charities for families in need at Thanksgiving and Christmas. We screen for eye problems in preschool and elementary students. We support childhood cancer charities, juvenile diabetes programs, and environmental programs, such as Arbor Day.
Again, we appreciate these businesses that support our communities and their wonderful customers.

It is with great sadness we report the passing of Lion Robert (Bob) Skrable on March 26. Bob was a exceptionally hard working dedicated member of the Stafford Lions Club. He was a mentor, a talented woodworker, a caring family man, and an all around wonderful person. He is greatly missed.

Congratulations to the students installed as new members of Southern Regional Leo Club!
Installation ceremony took place January 25 in the Library. The Club is sponsored by Stafford Lions Club. Thanks to the Leo teacher advisor Katie Cheney the Club members partipate in many support programs for local, national and international communities and causes.
Continue your Leo Club’s fine work. Again Congratulations!

Shout out to Walmart Manahawkin, Bageleddie’s, and their customers for their generous support in 2022!
Thanks to that support we were able to provide 3 scholarships to SRHS seniors, eye screening to preschool and elementary school children, resources for children unable to afford glasses, and support to SRMS Leo Club community projects, food gift cards to community residents among other eye health programs.
Thank you to everyone for supporting our community programs!

District Governor Douglas Both was honored April 2 at a testimonial dinner at Jumping Brook Country Club. DG Both received many testimonials and gifts. Past District Governor and Stafford Lions Club member Dave Skrivanek presented the District Governor with a wooden intarsia lion created by Bob Skrable, Stafford Lion. Bob traditionally presented District Governors a lion head at their testimonial dinners. Bob has relocated to Florida. DG Both received the last lion in this tradition.
