Mayor Sullivan, Trustee Prizzi, and Trustee O’Rourke Schutta were proud to attend Troop 24’s recent Court of Honor ceremony celebrating Brian Guiheen’s achievement of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

Congratulations, Brian, on this outstanding accomplishment. Earning the rank of Eagle Scout is a testament to years of hard work, dedication, leadership, and service to others.

We are incredibly proud of Troop 24 and all of the Scouts who continually give back to our community through their service projects and volunteer efforts. Your commitment to making our Village a better place is truly appreciated and serves as an inspiration to others. 🦅🇺🇸

Public Service Announcement - PSEG will be conducting aerial (helicopter) inspections of the utility assets throughout their service territory from 6/8/2026 – 6/19/2026, in order to provide their customers with reliable service.

Please note that the helicopter is light gray in color with blue lettering that reads “UTILITY PATROL” similar to what is depicted in the picture below.

Mayor Sullivan and Trustee Prizzi were proud to attend the Malverne Fire Department Memorial Service yesterday morning, honoring the fallen members who bravely served both our Country and our wonderful Village of Malverne. 🇺🇸🚒

We remembered and paid tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice through their service, courage, and dedication to protecting others. Their legacy will forever remain a part of our community and our nation.

We thank the Malverne Fire Department for continuing this meaningful tradition of remembrance and honor.

Today, the Village Board was proud to join American Legion Post 44 in honoring and remembering the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country during the Memorial Day ceremony at Village Hall.

As a community, we pause to reflect on the courage, service, and dedication of our fallen heroes whose sacrifices continue to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. 🇺🇸

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make today’s remembrance meaningful. May we never forget those who gave everything for our nation.

Due to the forecasted inclement weather, the Incorporated Village of Malverne and the American Legion regretfully announce the cancellation of tomorrow's Memorial Day Parade.

A Memorial Day Ceremony will still be held at Village Hall at 11:00 AM for all those who wish to attend as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

We thank everyone for their understanding and hope you will join us in paying tribute to our fallen heroes.
