We give the community a sense of familiarity when there is a call. We are all volunteers and give our time to a community that desperately needs it."

"I serve on volunteer EMS because I believe helping people in their worst moments matters. It gives me the opportunity to support my community, provide care when it’s needed most, and be part of a team that makes a real difference. Volunteering on EMS has taught me leadership, compassion, resilience, and the importance of staying calm under pressure. Even though the hours can be long and the calls can be difficult, knowing I can help someone on one of the hardest days of their life makes it worth it."

Volunteers are sparse these days. Listen to what Linda has to say. We are so lucky to have the team we have but would love to expand so we continue to serve our Malvern Community well.

At 82, Linda Seipold is still answering the pager at the Malvern Rescue Center, where she has served as an EMT since 1981. "It's just in my blood," she said.

Hello Malvern! Just a quick update for the beginning of our year... so far we have answered a total of 44 calls for 911 service:
January had 23 calls
February had 21 calls
