It appears we owe a huge thank you to Ms. Dicus at Wilson Intermediate School! 🐆

Yesterday at Wilson Intermediate School, Ms. Dicus' computer classes stepped away from the screens for an important offline lesson on Academic Professionalism. Students learned why professionalism matters (even while they are still in school), and they also practiced the valuable skill of properly introducing themselves! First impressions go a long way! 🥳

Learning how to present yourself is a valuable skill that everyone needs. Here at Malvern, we think it is so important that we help prepare our Leopards for the day when they all go out to be on their own.

From how we present ourselves to how we communicate with others, these are life skills that will serve our students well in more than just the classroom! This will aid them in future careers, and throughout every stage of life.

This is exactly the kind of well-rounded education we are committed to providing at Malvern School District!

We love seeing our Leopards build the confidence and character they need to take on the world! Thank you, Ms. Dicus, and thank you, ! 🐾

🎥 Friday night was a big one for more reasons than one!

Not only did we kick off the home football season, but it also marked a major milestone for our Malvern High School Journalism program. Friday night was the first time our Journalism students took full control of the Leopard Football livestream!

For years, our beloved Steve and Mary LaVergne have devoted countless hours to livestreaming our Malvern Leopard Football games for our community, and we cannot thank them enough for everything they have poured into that program. Their dedication has meant so much to so many families who could not always be in the stands. They set an incredible standard and we are so grateful for them.

This season, that torch has been passed to our MHS Journalism team, led by teachers Brigette Williams and John Sims. These students are learning real-world skills in event production, broadcasting logistics, and behind-the-scenes coordination, and they are already excelling.

Watching them step into this role has been something special. 🧡

We are so proud of every student on this crew for embracing the challenge and representing Malvern School District with Passion, Pride, and Excellence! 🐆🧡🖤
