🚒 KDM 2nd Graders Visit Station 5👩‍🚒

We always look forward to this time of year! We were thrilled to once again welcome Great Valley School District's K.D. Markley 2nd graders back to Station 5. 🧑‍🚒

Earlier this week, they spent the day learning about daily life at the station, checking out our equipment, and seeing how our team works together. In an amazing show of generosity, these students also raised money through a pencil sale and donated the proceeds to the East Whiteland Township Volunteer Fire Association.

A huge thanks goes out to the KDM 2nd graders for your kindness, awesome questions, and incredible community spirit.

The thoughts of the membership of the East Whiteland Fire Company are with the family and members of the West Whiteland Fire Company as they mourn the loss of Past Fire Chief George “Bud” Turner who passed away on May 23, 2026.

The thoughts of the entire membership of the East Whiteland Fire Company are with the Walnuttown Fire Company and the families and friends of Fire Chief Buck and Assistant Fire Chief Shick, who passed away in the line of duty on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

We extend our deepest condolences to their loved ones and the entire community during this difficult time.

We hopped into spring today and had an egg-cellent time attending the East Whiteland Township Eggstravaganza! It was wonderful seeing the whole community out for the egg hunt, especially with our friend the Easter Bunny tagging along to join the fun. 🐰🌷
