Although there are some votes yet to be tallied, I want to thank Norm Bonner and Matt Boyea for serving our community and running a fair, clean race. And thank you Crysta for putting yourself out there and giving it a good shot. As the odds are stacked against gaining enough ground, I want my supporters to know how much I appreciate them. I promise my dedication and desire to serve this community has not wavered.
I would also like to say that I do believe our election system is currently broken. Not because of a loss, or any claim of fraud. But simple, voter turnout is destroying the process. Whether it be voter apathy, or voter disenfranchisement, we have to.fix this. It's not for the politicians or media outlets to fix it for us. It is up to us, WE THE PEOPLE, to stand up and be counted. If you are not Registered to vote, Register today. If you didn't vote yesterday, please make a plan to vote next year.
Thank you again for the honor to run for your Village government. I'll be back. I'm not going anywhere.
