TOPANGA LAGOON RESTORATION COMMUNITY MEETING – MAY 31

Join project partners on Sunday, May 31, 1:30–3:30 PM to learn about the Topanga Lagoon Restoration Project and share your feedback on this rare, fragile coastal ecosystem.

This is your chance to help shape improved public access, recreation, and visitor services following the Palisades Fire, and to share your connection to Topanga Beach and Lagoon.

The meeting will be held in person at Pierce College in Woodland Hills and virtually. RSVP to choose your attendance option: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/topanga-lagoon-restoration-project-public-meeting-tickets-1988605236795?aff=oddtdtcreator

Topanga Lagoon, just east of Malibu, is one of Southern California’s last coastal wetlands and provides critical habitat, natural flood protection, and water filtration. Restoration plans include expanding the lagoon, improving habitat for endangered species, replacing the PCH bridge to restore water flow, and enhancing beach access, safety, and climate resilience.

Family-friendly activities, snacks, and Spanish translation/accessibility support will be available. Learn more: https://www.topangalagoonrestoration.org/
