The Malden Fire Department extends our deepest condolences to the members of the Saugus Fire Department, and to the family and friends of Lieutenant Damian Drella following his passing from occupational cancer.

His loss is felt far beyond the Saugus Fire Department.

The Malden Fire Department and members of L902 wish to extend our sincere condolences to the men and women of the Boston Fire Department. Firefighter Robert Kilduff Jr of Rescue Co. 2 passed away after sustaining injuries while battling a 3-alarm fire on Treadway Road in the Dorchester neighborhood.

Robert was a Marine, father, husband and brother who dedicated his life to service and sacrifice. We extend our thoughts and prayers to his family, friends and fellow firefighters during this extremely difficult time. Rest in Peace, brother.
