🔔 STREET SWEEPERS ARE BACK IN TOWN!

Our street sweeping crews will be out tomorrow, Saturday, September 5th sweeping Malden Center and all Main Streets.

💥Normal street sweeping operations and parking enforcement will fully resume on Tuesday, September 8th.

Please continue to follow all posted street sweeping regulations and move your vehicles accordingly.

Please take note of our adjusted hours during Labor Day:
- Adjusted Hours: Some City services will follow a modified schedule. For detailed hours for all services and departments, please see the attached grid.
- Trash/Recycling Collection: Remember, trash collection will be pushed forward by one day following the holiday.
- City Hall: City Hall will be closed on Labor Day, Monday September 7th.
- Emergency Services: As always, emergency services will remain available 24/7.

Milling on Wallace Street – Friday, September 4

Residents are advised that milling work will take place on Wallace Street on Friday, September 4, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

No parking will be permitted on Wallace Street during this time. Please plan accordingly and remove vehicles from the street before work begins.

Over the past few months, our Highway concrete team has been hard at work making Malden's streets safer and more accessible for everyone. 🚧🚶‍♂️

This summer alone, the team successfully replaced over a dozen damaged ADA pads across the city.
Pedestrian safety, inclusivity, and accessibility are always top priorities for the City of Malden. Whether you’re walking, pushing a stroller, or using a wheelchair, we are committed to ensuring our sidewalks are safe and easy to navigate.

The Parking Department has been notified and will suspend enforcement of street sweeping parking restrictions until further notice.
