The Blue Goose Originally built as a furniture store, also ice-cream parlor / confectionery, tavern and pool hall. Relocated to become the social hub of Samaria.

With great sadness we inform you that our beloved friend, Clarence Ralph Hughes, passed away this morning, all arrangements are pending.

This is Clarence R. Hughes. The man who has made the Goose the attraction that it is. His knowledge of local history, farming, geology and willingness to freely share it makes him an interesting character; however, his genuine concern and love for his fellow man Makes him an irreplaceable icon that we treasure in Samaria.
