Kara McCubbins, Our Diamond Miss Young Miss Diamond Girl Queen brought a bag of police bracelets and stickers for our officers to hand out to kiddos at the station. She chose April to be a month of donations since her reign is almost up, and she wanted to thank the Maize PD for helping her on her journey by donating items we can give back to the community. Chief Weible gave her a banner pin which totally made her day!! (He couldn't let Bel Aire get away with being the only one who pinned her with some good swag!)

Thank You Kara!

If you receive a call demanding immediate payment or threatening arrest unless you pay:
HANG UP immediately
DO NOT send money or provide personal information

Parents of Teen Drivers – Know Before They Go! 🚨

As the fun of Spring Break and Summer are on the horizon, we want to make sure our teens are being safe and following the law!

Please review the brochure at the link below. It contains information on the various restrictions for teen drivers licenses. Kansas law also requires that all persons 14-17 years old MUST wear a seat belt when riding in a vehicle. Failure to do so will result in a $60 ticket.

PARENTS: Your guidance in ensuring your teen understands the restrictions of their driving privilages and helping them make good choices plays a critical role in keeping them and others safe on Kansas roads.

Violating driving restrictions could result in:
⚠️ Citations
⚠️ Fines and court costs
⚠️ Delays in obtaining a full license, including license suspensions & revocations.
⚠️ Increased insurance costs

Let’s work together to promote safe, responsible driving for our Maize Community!
