Malissa and I are heading home after an incredible experience at the Ohio School Safety Summit. It was an honor to share a message of hope, resilience, and positive choices with educators, administrators, counselors, school resource officers, first responders, and so many others who dedicate their lives to making our schools safer, stronger, and more supportive for students.

We met some amazing people, heard inspiring stories, and were reminded once again of the tremendous impact caring adults can have on the lives of young people.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and made us feel so welcome. We are excited to continue building new relationships and look forward to speaking in many Ohio schools during the upcoming school year. Together, we can make a difference, one student at a time. ThinkPOZ.org

Malissa and I are at the airport heading to Cleveland, then on to Sandusky, Ohio, for the Ohio School Safety Summit. I’m honored to be serving as the keynote speaker tomorrow at the Kalahari Resort, sharing a message of hope, encouragement, and the power of making positive choices.

It’s always a blessing to have Malissa by my side on these journeys. We’re looking forward to meeting educators, administrators, counselors, school resource officers, first responders, and so many others who dedicate their lives to making our schools safer and stronger for students.

I’m excited to be the keynote speaker for the Ohio School Safety Summit at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, Ohio on Tuesday.

Malissa and I are looking forward to the trip and the opportunity to share a message of hope, encouragement, and the power of making positive choices with educators, administrators, counselors, school resource officers, first responders, and school staff from across the state.

Every student deserves to feel safe, valued, and heard. I’m grateful for the chance to be part of this important event and to help make a difference in the lives of young people.

Coming to the Ohio School Safety Summit.

I have spoken at many schools that have experienced heartbreaking loss. What stays with me is knowing there are often other students silently struggling with the same pain, fear, and hopelessness.

I’m incredibly grateful to know my presentation is making a difference, giving students hope, and helping save lives. These letters from former students are the reason I continue this mission every single day.

This powerful event brings together so many of the everyday heroes who make a difference in the lives of students… teachers, administrators, nurses, counselors, transportation staff, school resource officers, first responders, and so many others who serve our schools and communities.

Every year around Mother’s Day, I share this video because my mother’s story continues to touch hearts and change lives.

I was incredibly blessed to have an amazing mom. She lived for her children and loved us with everything she had. Tragically, she passed away at just 58 years young. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss her. She was my hero.

The story I share about my mother has brought families closer together, inspired healing, and reminded people what truly matters in life. If there’s one thing I hope people take from it, it’s this: don’t wait. Spend more time with the people you love. Make the phone call. Take the trip. Say “I love you” more often. Life can change in an instant.

I love you and miss you every single day, Mom. Thank you for the love, lessons, and memories that still live in my heart. ❤️
