🎣 Cops & Bobbers is back! 🎣
Join our community for a fun, free Youth Fishing Derby on July 12th from 8 AM to 12 PM at Kingswood Park. Open to all kids 16 and under — no registration needed!

🐟 Bait is provided — just bring your own pole and enjoy a great morning of fishing, fun, and community connections with local officers.

Get ready to reel in some fun! Cops and Bobbers is back this Saturday, July 12th, at Kingswood Park, and it's going to be a fin-tastic time for the whole family!

Little anglers (16 and under), this is your chance to show off your fishing skills and win awesome prizes for the biggest catches in three age groups. No registration needed—just show up with your fishing gear and be ready for a good time!

Here's the scoop:

📅: Saturday, July 12th

⏰: Registration kicks off at 7:30 AM, with the derby running from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

📍: Kingswood Park, Northern Section

Parking: Plenty of spots available in the north parking lot off Duke Blvd and the Kingswood lot off Irwin-Simpson.

🍕: All participants get a FREE pizza lunch! 🍕

Are you looking for an amazing program for your children in kindergarten through fifth grade? Look no further! Cub Scouts offers adventure, learning, and fun for boys and girls.

Our scouts get to:

🎣 Enjoy fishing
🏕️ Camp under the stars
🌿 Hike local trails
🤝 Make lifelong friends

Each activity is designed to teach valuable life skills while having a blast. We have yearly fees that cover materials, trips, and membership, but we also offer fundraising opportunities like popcorn sales to help with costs. This is a fantastic way for scouts to learn about salesmanship, set goals, and earn rewards.

Does your Cub Scout like Science, Technology, Engineering or Math? We have an exciting new option for Cub Scouts in the Wolf to Webelos programs.

Join us on Jan 13th from 9:30 am to 1pm at the Scout Achievement Center for a fun exploration of Math for $20. This program event focuses on 1-2-3 Go! Nova, the award will be completed at the event and the patch or pin provided.

Join us!

On 11.15.2022, we will have our annual “‘Hero’ Pack Meeting”, when we will:

1) Honor Service Members (all braches, active duty, retired, & veterans) with “Hero Certificates”

2) Honor First Responders with “Hero Certificates”

3) Collect & send candy to local troops serving overseas

4) Collect letters our scouts wrote - to sent to deployed troops serving overseas during the holidays

5) Collect for needy families

6) Partake in a “Touch-a-Truck” event with army reserve, fire dept. & police.

Our Pack Meeting is next Tuesday & bats have taken over the meeting!!!! You don’t want to miss this AWESOME EVENT! Warren County Soil & Water’s Education Specislist, Melissa Proffitt, will teach us all about these awesome creatures! Just in time for Halloween! We’ll also have magic, hand awards out, & much more! It starts at 6:30 PM on 10/18/22. See you at Lakeview!

Quite a few of our AOLs & Webelos went to Peterloon with Troop 21 this weekend! So much fun!!!! Thanks for hosting Troop 21! We saw a lot of former (graduated to Scouts BSA) Cub Scouts from Pack 617.

Everyone had a “blast” at the Water Fight with the Landen Deerfield Fire Department followed with 12 Degree Italian Ice!!! So nice if those heroes from the Fire Dept. to join us! Cubmaster Harvey jumped sides when recruited by the fire dept. The scouts may have won this year!?!
