The Mahwah Police Department is excited to invite you to their L.E.A.D Fest Carnival, taking place from June 25 through June 28 at Commodore Perry Field!

Twice last week Co. 3 responded to calls where a fire blanket stopped the spread of a fire due to quick thinking by the residents who owned and used them. We are praising them for their actions and preventing something worse from spreading.

Last night for drill Co.'s 1, 2, and 3 attended a drill hosted by Ramsey NJ Fire Department along with several mutual aid towns learning about EV fires and the Firebox that Big Tows Inc operates and will be using for electric car fires because the batteries are hazardous when damaged and on fire so we need ways to mitigate the hazard and safely cool the battery and have a specialized piece of equipment to contain that vehicle for the designated time frame. Thanks to Energy Security Agency for teaching the class and showing us tips and tricks to fighting these hazardous fires. Thanks to Ramsey Fire for your hospitality and was great to see soo many people come out for this training.
