Hi Everyone!
With warmer weather on the horizon, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to the Department of Public Works, the Mahwah Police Department, and our Emergency Services volunteers for their hard work and dedication during the major snowstorms we encountered this winter season. Their professionalism was evident through all aspects of the storm, from preparations to clean up to debriefing afterwards. I received many compliments from residents and neighboring towns about the exceptional condition of our roads during and immediately following the storms. I'd also like to thank our residents for their cooperation during the storms. Your assistance was instrumental in the successful storm clean up.
Looking forward to warmer weather and longer days.
Be Safe!
Jim

Good morning,

Please stay off the roads, let our DPW do what they do best. Any vehicles on the roadways make it difficult to clear them. All roads are snow covered and slippery. Be safe and check on your neighbors.

Hi Everyone!

As we prepare for another storm, please be sure to remove all cars from the street. It is important to keep the streets clear of parked vehicles to allow our DPW workers safe access to the streets for plowing purposes. Please check in on your neighbors and dig out any fire hydrants located on or close to your property.

Be Safe!
Jim

Today marks the 16th anniversary of Les Paul's passing. Les was very giving to our township and neighboring communities. When we received this fire truck the year he passed, it was only fitting we dedicated it in his honor.
On behalf of the Township of Mahwah ,NJ - RIP Les Paul.

Happy Memorial Day Everyone!
Today we honor the fallen members of our military who fought to protect our rights and freedom.
Many thanks to everyone who came out to the Mahwah Memorial Day parade and ceremony this morning. I loved seeing the members of our scouting groups, access for all, our high school band and color guard, our Police Color Guard, our Vetetans, and our first responders.
Thank you to all of our current and deceased service members serving here and over seas.
Be Safe,
Jim
