We were honored to welcome Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins and Director of Faith-Based Initiatives Rev. Kym McNair to the Putnam/Northern Westchester Women's Resource Center.

Their visit was a meaningful opportunity to share the work being done every day to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking throughout our region. We are grateful for the time they took to learn more about our programs, hear about the needs facing our communities, and discuss how we can continue working together to expand access to safety, support, and hope.

Strong communities are built through partnership, and we look forward to strengthening our collaboration with Westchester County and the many organizations committed to creating a safer tomorrow for everyone.

Thank you, County Executive Jenkins and Rev. McNair, for your leadership, your compassion, and your commitment to the people of Westchester Counties. We are excited for what we can accomplish together.

What kind of community do we want to live in?

A community where people show up for one another. Where survivors are met with compassion. Where healing is supported by neighbors, businesses, volunteers, and friends.

This week, Bri from Extravagance by Bri reminded us what that looks like by donating her time, talent, and care to provide a free spa experience for survivors in our community.

Creating a safer, more compassionate world requires all of us. Every act of generosity, every volunteer hour, every donated skill, and every dollar invested helps build the community we want to call home.
