The Magnolia Economic Development Corporation will meet Thursday, June 11, at 4:00 PM at Magnolia City Hall.

Due to several scheduled absences by 4B Directors resulting in a lack of quorum, the Magnolia Community Development Corporation will not hold its regular June meeting.

Here's the latest look at development activity within the Magnolia Village Shopping Center along FM 1488 between Spur 149 and from the Developer, Gulf Coast.

Academy and PNC Bank are slated to open in the Fall of 2026.

Additional restaurants and medical space are still in pre-development and plans are being coordinated with the city.

As of June 1st this is the only information we have on the project and their timelines.

The Magnolia Economic and Community Development meetings scheduled for May 14th have been canceled due to a lack of quorum.

Should a special meeting be called, notice will be posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, and updates will be shared on this page.

FM 1488 roadway updates for the week of April 20th

TxDOT Update: FM 1488 around Smith Rd and Melton

For the week of April 20-25th the area will experience temporary roadway changes to facilitate further construction work. Plan on reduced access in the area throughout the week. Expect delays and plan alternative routes, if you can.
